Applicants

How do I know HR has received my application?
Applicants will receive a confirmation email at the address provided upon submission confirming your application has been received.

How often are applications reviewed?
Applications are reviewed weekly.

When can I expect to be contacted about employment?
Due to the large volume of applications you will be contacted if you are selected for the next phase in the hiring process.

What qualifications are required for employment?
Qualifications are listed in the job description for each position

Am I required to provide any of my own Personal Protective Equipment?
Employees are required to provide steel toe boots that meet the general safety standards. TPF will provide all other PPE

What do I do about time-off plans made prior to applying with TPF?
All PTO requests must be approved by a supervisor.

Who do I contact if I have a payroll question?

How and when do I get paid?
Payday is every other Friday. You will receive your wages either through direct deposit or a physical check. TPF encourages employees to take advantage of direct deposit.

How do I set up direct deposit?
Direct deposit can be set up manually on the ADP Employee Portal. From the home screen, Myself > Pay > Direct Deposit. Employees may also contact Human Resources for assistance.

How long does it take for direct deposit to go into effect?
A new direct deposit account will have to go through a pre-note phase to ensure the account information is correct. This period usually takes one payroll cycle.

When am I eligible to receive the safety and performance bonus?
Employees are eligible starting the first pay period week following 90 days of employment.

How long do I have to submit benefit enrollments after hire?
Employees need to submit enrollment forms within 30 days after hire.

When do my benefits go into effect?
Benefits go into effect 60 days after the first day of the month following date of hire.

How will I receive my insurance card?
Insurance cards will be mailed out to the address on file. A temporary card can be provided by reaching out to Human Resources.

When can I make changes to my enrollments?
Changes can only be made during the annual open enrollment held in November; otherwise changes can only be made for applicable “Qualifying Events” (i.e. marriage, divorce, birth of a child, etc.)

General

What should I expect on my first day of work?
This information will be provided during New Hire Orientation. Please contact HR at employment@texaspridefuels.com for a helpful guide to what to expect.

How do I request time off?
All PTO requests must be requested and approved through a supervisor. Please provide as much notice as possible.

How do I submit a change of address?
Address changes and updates to personal information can be completed manually on the ADP Employee portal. Employees can also contact Human Resources for assistance.

How do I apply for a Commercial Driver’s License?
You can contact a TPF supervisor for instructions and direction on obtaining your CDL. Download or print the CDL application here (PDF).

When do I get my Company issued FR Coveralls?
FR’s are ordered on Thursday after your Orientation. It takes 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the size, for the FR’s to arrive in Springtown.
